Sigrid has over twenty years of experience in environmental public policies and sustainable development work; in the fields of biodiversity, forests and protected areas in Ecuador and other Andean Amazon Basin countries. She has participated in several initiatives related to the strengthening of democracy and the fight against corruption. She is experienced in applied research and multi-stakeholder interventions, working with research organisations, public policymaker and civil society, especially women’s’ organisations and indigenous peoples. She has degrees in Sociology, Environmental Biology, and Sustainable Development Policy.
She is collaborating with CurbingCorruption in testing the SFRA/Sector approach within Ecuador.
