1. Transparency International Defence and Security (TI-DS) 

The largest and most prolific NGO dedicated to reducing corruption in defence. They have detailed analyses of the corruption vulnerabilities of 113 national defence ministries/militaries and of 160 of the international defence contractors. They produce extensive guidance and research.

2. NATO Building Integrity (BI)

The BI Programme provides practical tools to help participating countries strengthen integrity, transparency and accountability and reduce the risk of corruption in the defence and security sector. It promotes good practice and provides countries with support.

3. Centre for Integrity in Defence Studies (CIDS)

Based in Norway within the Norwegian MOD, CIDS promotes integrity, anti-corruption and good governance.

4. Centre for the Democratic Control of the Armed Forces (DCAF)

 DCAF is an intergovernmental foundation-based think tank that provides research and project support to states and international actors in improving security sector governance and reform.

 5. International Security Sector Advisory Team (DCAF-ISSAT) 

ISSAT provides support to the international community to reinforce and strengthen their individual and collective efforts to improve security and justice, primarily in conflict-affected and fragile states.
